The North Woods of Central Park is a great birding locale in the early spring. The combination of water, woods, open spaces and flowering trees provides opportunties for wildlife of every stripe. Somehow this guys makes a tree look comfortable!

He circled and then hovered over the compost heap a few times.
Wink, wink!
