Spring Updates

Looks like the Cathedral female is brooding. In the past three days I only saw her once...at 1pm today atop St. Luke's. Meanwhile the male continues tear up the neighborhood, ducking and diving from rooftop to rooftop!

He finally lit out for the Park.

As for the kestrels, I have seen only a brief glimpse of the female and no mating has been observed to date. But the male continues on his rounds. Also flitting from rooftop to rooftop.

Also a large group of crows moved through.

James,

Thank you for the update on the Divines. That new guy is really quite the hell raiser and your pictures show it wonderfully.

Also that's a gorgeous shot of the male Kestrel in flight.

Its beginning to look like the new male's style is taking its toll. There are very few birds now that will perch out in the open making prey scarce. It will be interesting to see how he will deal with the increase demand vs lower availability.
