NYC Snow Totals

for Central Park, about 30 blocks away, a record 26.8 inches fell...at one point it snowed 11 inches in 3 hrs! The sparrows, starlings and pigeons were having a hell of a time finding food, congregating around snowed over trash cans. Eventually I saw an industrious starling rip open a plastic bag and spill food like a macabre pinata. Here are some pics!
